Can anyone say “wow?” You must be kidding me. The San Francisco Giants, that’s right, the San Francisco Giants are World Series Champions after a 3-1 win in Game 5 last night
How could that be? Well, thanks to the ridiculous pitching of 21-year old rookie Madison Bumgarner, and ace Tim Lincecum, the Giants have revved-up the people of San Francisco and the entire Bay Area as well.
The Giants shut out the powerful Texas Rangers lineup twice in four games, which really shows how strong their staff is. Lincecum, Cain, and Bumgarner straight up put away batter after batter.
Juan Uribe continued to have a hot bat, and Aubrey Huff was the star at the plate in Game 3. Edgar Renteria brought the World Series to San Francisco with a three-run home run late in last night’s game.
The Giants are something to be proud of this year, and look out for Buster Posey as the National League MVP as well.
