Steelers 37-49ers 16: The San Francisco 49ers finally came back to Earth last Sunday when the Pittsburgh Steelers dominated them. Willie Parker shredded the 49ers with 133 rushing yards and Ben Roethlisberger passed for a TD. Frank Gore was limited to 39 yards rushing and Alex Smith passed for a TD and an interception.
Giants 24-Redskins 17: After an 0-2 start, the New York Giants were in desperate need for a need. The Washington Redskins however had a great start going 2-0 and were expecting to win in an easy victory while playing the easiest team in the division and at Washington. With 1 minute in the game, the score was 24-17 and the Redskins had the ball at the 1 yard-line. After spiking the ball they had 3 plays to tie the game up and go into overtime. Unfortunately, they were stuffed and the Giants won the game 24-17.
Packers 31-Chargers 24: Brett Favre tied Dan Marino’s all time record for passing touchdowns with a 57 yard pass to WR Greg Jennings to win the game. Donald Driver of the Packers had 126 yards receiving and a touchdown. Brett Favre and Philip Rivers both threw for 3 touchdowns. LT hasn’t had a game where he has rushed over 100 yards this season and was held to 66 yards on 22 carries. Antonio Gates however, had another monster game with 113 yards.
