Score: Menlo 38, Sacred Heart 12.
The Valparaiso Bowl for the JV was at 4:00 on Saturday evening and the varsity game was at 7:00 on Saturday as well. JV lost the game 36-34. Travis Boyce led Menlo High School with 264 passing yards and 95 rushing yards on 12 carries. Jerry Rice contributed 101 rushing yards and 46 receiving yards. Also, RJ Carver had 160 passing yards with two touchdowns. The Menlo Knights came out at half time with 35 points, but let up two touchdowns in the second half. The knights had a few too many penalties, which hurt them through out the whole game. These penalties called back at least two touchdowns that would have help Menlo a great deal.
